Amada DPG-150

The DPG-150 is a profile grinding machine with digital measurement technology, designed for the production of parts with very tight tolerances.

It is the first machine of this type available on the market where it is possible to grind, measure and, if necessary, rework the piece in the machine without having to remove it.

The DPG-150 is a digital profile grinder with a linear-motor reciprocating unit, which eliminates wear-prone parts and delivers high dynamics and smooth motion.
It is the first machine in the sector with universal digital measurement technology and automatic compensation.
AMADA is developing the grinding process further, moving from the traditional projector view to automatic grinding controlled by the dimensions of the workpiece. Digital optics show the workpiece and the wheel live on a 4K monitor during the process. The projected CAD contour line is used to program, check, measure and compensate deviations from the digital image of the workpiece and of the wheel.
Automatic or teach-in contour programming, grinding, measuring and compensation all take place in a single clamping of the workpiece!
