Okuma 2SP-H

Significantly shorter cycle times for small to medium-sized workpieces, ideal for medium to large batches in the automotive industry: the innovative double front spindles make the 2SP-H series the most user-friendly turning machine for automation.

On a single machine, front and rear side machining can be carried out in a very short time. The carriage units assigned to the spindle heads also allow the Okuma Gantry Loader (OGL) to be integrated into the production line for automatic loading and unloading of workpieces.

The Okuma 2SP-H series is a range of twin-spindle horizontal CNC lathes, with the two spindles facing each other to complete the workpiece in a single cycle and ease integration into automated cells. Turning diameter grows from 220 mm on the 2SP-150H to 290 mm on the 2SP-1500H, up to 410 mm on the 2SP-2500H, with turning lengths ranging from 150 to 200 mm. Spindle speed ranges from 5,000 rpm on the 2SP-2500H to 6,000 rpm on the 2SP-150H and 2SP-1500H. Per-spindle power increases accordingly: from 7.5/11 kW (continuous/peak) on the 2SP-150H to 15/11 kW on the 2SP-1500H and 2SP-2500H. Every model features two 12-tool turrets (24 in total).
