  • |High-capacity vertical machining centre

Heavy, economical milling for large workpieces: the vertical machining centres of the MILLAC VII series are renowned for their maximum precision and rigidity.

With the high-performance Okuma spindles with large gearbox and bearings, speeds of up to 4,000 m-1 and torques of up to 820 Nm are usually achieved.

The Okuma MILLAC VII series brings together high-capacity vertical machining centres, available in the 761VII, 852VII and 1052VII variants, designed for heavy cutting thanks to a rigid construction. Across the whole range the tool magazine holds 36 pockets and rapid traverses reach 16/16/16 m/min on the three axes, ensuring reduced non-cutting times. The three sizes 761VII, 852VII and 1052VII share the same technical layout and the same tool-change equipment, letting the user choose the machine size best suited to the workpiece envelope while keeping unchanged the traverse performance and magazine capacity. A series built for those seeking consistent performance across several machine sizes, with no compromise between the range versions.
