Okuma LOC

For heavy machining of large and heavy turned parts and for machining pipe ends: the LOC series has been specifically developed for the requirements of the oil industry. In threading, the LOC series is appreciated for its precision and high work rate.

It is possible to equip the machine with one or two revolver tool holders. Each model is equipped with three bore variants per spindle and can also machine large diameter pipes.

The Okuma LOC series includes the LOC 500 and LOC 650 oil country CNC lathes, designed for machining and threading large-diameter pipe and components with a large spindle bore. The LOC 500 features a tool magazine with 12/10 capacity and continuous/peak spindle power of 37/30 kW, with optional variants of 45/37 and 55/45 kW for more demanding work on thick-wall pipe. The LOC 650, aimed at larger diameters and dimensions, offers a 12/8 tool magazine and rapid feed rates of 5/10 m/min. Thanks to dual turrets and a wide range of available power ratings, the LOC series covers varied oil country turning needs, from standard production to applications requiring higher torque and larger tool magazines.
