The Okuma GENOS M4000H-e is a 4-axis horizontal machining center built for series production of precision components: it combines the high machining capacity, agile operation and accuracy stability of Okuma machining centers with an essential, accessible platform.
The work area provides travels of 560 x 560 x 625 mm with a 400 x 400 mm pallet (maximum load 400 kg, 0.001° indexing) and accepts workpieces up to Ø600 x 900 mm. The BT40 (No. 40) spindle reaches 15,000 rpm, delivering 26/18.5 kW (10-minute peak/continuous) and 199/146 Nm of torque, covering everything from heavy-duty cutting to high-speed machining.
Dynamics lead the class: 60 m/min rapids on X/Y/Z with up to 1 G acceleration, 1.0-second tool change (2.9 s chip-to-chip) on a 64-tool magazine, and a 6.9-second pallet change. Everything is governed by Okuma's OSP-P300MA-e control, with the Thermo-Friendly Concept ensuring stable accuracy over long operating hours.
With a 2,420 x 5,358 mm footprint and a weight of 9,600 kg, the GENOS M4000H-e is Okuma's entry point to quality horizontal milling: ideal for series producers who want to grow productivity without giving up precision.
