The Neway PM-HC series brings together double-column (gantry) machining centres in the upgraded (HC) version, designed for milling large parts in steel and cast iron. The range is very broad, with ten sizes from PM1320HC to PM2580HC. The representative PM2040HC size provides travels of 4,200 mm (X), 2,700 mm (Y) and 1,000 mm (Z), a 2,800 mm column clearance, a 2,000 x 4,000 mm table rated up to 18,000 kg. The BT50 spindle delivers 22 kW continuous and 26 kW peak and turns up to 6,000 rpm, with torque from 770 to 910 Nm; the magazine holds 24 tools and the control is Neway Fanuc (Siemens optional). The gantry structure ensures high rigidity and thermal stability, ideal for large-format moulds, structural components and bases.
